Press Brake Setter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our client based in Telford . The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate and shape sheet metal components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties :

* Be able to set and operate Amada press brakes to manufacture components from sheet metal.

* Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.

* Measures and aligns materials to be used.

* Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

* Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.

* Maintains a clean work area.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

* Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.

* Ability to follow instructions.

* Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.

* Basic computer and math skills.

* At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.

* Physically able to operate the press brake.

Hours
Monday – Thursday 8am - 4:30pm
Friday 6am - 3pm
