Job Description Pre-Construction Manager - Reading- Water Utility Projects\n \n We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead the pre-construction phases of major water utility infrastructure projects. This is a critical role where your technical knowledge, leadership, and early-stage planning expertise will shape the success of complex, high-value civil engineering schemes.\n \n Key Responsibilities:\n\nLead the pre-construction phase across multiple sites, working closely with internal teams and client representatives\nDefine project scope, manage risks, and drive design development in alignment with budget and delivery goals\nCo-ordinate site investigations, surveys, and early planning consents\nEnsure compliance with CDM regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements\nManage the design process, including buildability, safety, and cost- efficiency\nSupport tendering and bid processes by contributing commercial and technical insightWhat We're Looking For:\n\nProven experience managing pre-construction phases within water utility or civil infrastructure projects\nStrong understanding of design coordination, risk management, and contract planning\nBackground in Civil Engineering (HNC/Degree or equivalent)\nConfident
