Pre construction Director

Location: Wimbledon HQ with hybrid working flexibility

Ambitious and fast-growing contractor delivering civil engineering, groundworks and demolition services across London and the South East. Operating as both principal contractor and specialist sub-contractor, we are proud to work with leading public sector clients including the NHS, Local Authorities, and Tier 2 main contractors. We're currently engaged through major public sector frameworks such as Procure Partnerships and Procure Public, and are now looking to expand into the public housing development sector, offering RC frame, groundwork and demolition packages to developers and contractors across London.

To support this next phase of growth, we are seeking a strategic and technically astute Head of Pre-Construction to lead client engagement, manage bid strategy, and build a best-in-class pre-construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new client acquisition and build long-term strategic relationships across target sectors

• Lead the end-to-end tender process including bid strategy, programme development, method statements, technical clarifications, and commercial inputs

• Shape and grow the pre-construction and estimating team, ensuring efficient and high-quality bid submissions

• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from tender to site
