Power BI Developer

Join the IT department’s Data & Analytics team as a Power BI Developer and help bring data to life!

In this role, you’ll be the magic behind the dashboards - developing new visualisation products, levelling up the ones we’ve already got, and keeping our platforms running smoothly across the business. You’ll report into our Visualisation Lead and work where creativity meets code.

What you will be doing...  

• Develop reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop. 
• Create compelling reports with a consumer-based focus on interactivity, usability and accessibility as standard, making use of variations in visual capabilities of the platform including customisation where appropriate. 
• Analytical thinking & communicating with the business stakeholders to understand & translate data into informative visuals and reports that answers business questions. 
• Develop shared datasets following best practice guidelines to support reporting using the master data model pattern. 
• Use DAX in Power BI Desktop following industry standards and using recent advances in development and optimisation practices.
