Our client managed a well-established private apartment block within easy reach of Limehouse DLR. This permanent role will suit someone with a strong proven track record of working alone unsupervised and therefore someone with initiative, good organisational skills and self-motivation and strong sense of responsibility to take care of the day to day operations of the block. Must have good communication and great customer service skills. The role will involve a combination of basic maintenance, minor cleaning, rubbish collection, and ensuring that the security of the building is maintained at all times. Duties will include ensuring that the buildings facilities, such as the lift, entry phone, boilers etc., are in good working order, taking regular utility meter readings for the apartments, maintaining the overall high standard of cleanliness in all communal areas (both internally and externally), being responsible for key holding, monitoring CCTV, overseeing any work carried out by contractors on site, parcel management, undertaking regular security patrols, and developing a close and productive working relationship with both the Managing Agents and the Residents. All applicants must have a strong proven track records and be able to produce checkable employer’s references. Must have excellent English communication skills, customer service skills, initiative, common sense, and a genuine desire to help out when necessary
