SEND Teacher - Inspire, Support, and Make an Impact

Location: Ealing
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £750 - £1,250 per week

We are working with an OFSTED-rated 'Good' Special Needs School in Ealing, supporting students aged 3 to 19 years. This school takes pride in its highly skilled staff, specialist resources, and strong support network, offering an environment where both students and educators can thrive.

The Role:

As a SEND Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping students develop their communication, learning, emotional well-being, and independence. You'll work with students across four key areas of need, including:

  • Communication & Interaction
  • Cognition & Learning
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties
  • Sensory & Physical Needs

This is a rewarding and well-supported teaching position where you'll be encouraged to bring creative, adaptable, and engaging lessons to life, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate (recognised by Naric)
  • Experience working with SEND students in either mainstream or specialist settings
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching approach
  • Strong communication skills to build connections with students, staff, and families
  • An active DBS check (on the update service)
  • Bonus: Experience with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, or Rapid Prompting Method is beneficial but not required

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons that align with EHCPs
  • Assessing student progress and celebrating milestones
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment at all times
  • Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff to create the best outcomes for students
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in learners
