Job Title: Plater
Location: Nottinghamshire
Pay: £15.50 - £16.50 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:30
The Company:
A well-established precision engineering company who manufactures components for the automotive, aerospace, and defence industries.
The Plater Candidate:
* Be either apprentice trained, or time served (minimum of 3 years)
* Have experience working with thick gauge mild steel
* Ability to read engineering drawings without supervision
* Attitude to get the work done to a excellent standard
* Using a overhead crane would be desirable
* Willing to assist in busy areas when needed
The Plater Responsibilities:
* Fabricate / Plate mild steel with thick gauges.
* Follow engineering drawings to draw out onto plates.
* Cut Plates to size, using fabrication tools.
