Senior Planner / Project Control Engineer
Location: Manchester/Hybrid
Contract Length: Initial 6 months INSIDE IR35 – Potential to extend
We are seeking an experienced Planner / Project Control Engineer to join a major Rail and Transportation client on a high-impact infrastructure programme focused on the electrification of bus depots. This includes retrofitting existing facilities with electric charging infrastructure and the construction of new depots to support a cleaner, more sustainable future in public transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project planning and control expertise across multiple workstreams.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
Support cost and resource planning to ensure programme efficiency.
Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client teams.
Requirements:
Significant experience in a similar senior-level planning or project controls role.
Strong understanding of infrastructure and/or construction projects.
Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
