This involves a positive bio-psychosocial approach combining functional assessment with evidence-based treatment which is underpinned with excellent clinical care. The role will provide the following services on a remote basis; triage phone calls, supported self-management, functional restoration programmes, DSE & Workplace assessments. br The post holder must be able to cover on-site working two days a week 1pm - 9pm, and one day working from home 0830am - 1630pm. The post holder must hold a drivers license and have access to a vehicle. br Main Duties and Responsibilities: br Provide accurate, detailed, and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to employees on a remote or face-to-face basis. br Identify, assess, and advise on any workplace hazards or contributing factors to Musculoskeletal disorders. br Conduct workplace assessments such as DSE or work-based tasks as and when required and provide advice and recommendations as appropriate. br Always maintain clinical objectivity and impartiality in line with occupational health guidance. br Deliver effective evidence-based rehabilitation that adheres to national clinical standards. br Utilise a bio-psychosocial approach combined with functional assessment to address barriers to work and inform robust work recommendations. br Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required for the Role: br Clinical Physiotherapy Qualification. br Full Member of the CSP & Registered member of HCPC is essential. br At least two years post registration experience as a Physiotherapist br Post-graduate training in Occupational Health/Ergonomics. br Previous experience or an interest in Occupational Health Physiotherapy. br Experience of providing functional assessment and fitness for work advice. br Driver license & access to a vehicle. br What Can We Offer You? br Competitive salary br 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays br Buy and sell holiday scheme br Pension scheme br Health Cash Plan br Career progression opportunities br Employee Assistance Programme br Cycle to work scheme br Eye care test vouchers br Flu vaccination scheme br Employee discount scheme br Life assurance br Professional registrations fees paid br Clinical Training Academy br Optima Health is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
