Phonics Lead Teaching Assistant
SANZA are working with one of the highest-achieving primary schools in North West London to recruit a dedicated and skilled Phonics Lead Teaching Assistant.
This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in improving early reading outcomes and developing a love of language in a school known for exceptional progress, creativity, and innovation.
The role:
Lead daily phonics interventions across EYFS and Key Stage 1
Support class teachers in delivering phonics sessions using the school's validated scheme
Track pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Model outstanding phonics teaching and share best practice with colleagues
Support guided reading sessions, individual readers, and small group work
Be an integral part of the school's early literacy strategyThe school:

Familiarity with a phonics scheme (e.g. Little Wandle, Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
Strong communication and organisational skills
