Perl Developer

Job Description Your Key Responsibilities:
Expand and support the patch tooling used for reporting, tracking vulnerabilities, automation for patch deployment and data gathering
The engineer would work alongside the rest of the Unix Engineering and patching team and assist with the group’s objectives.

Your Skills and Experience:

Perl development and testing skills
Requirement gathering experience
Experience of API definition
Experience in front end web development including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience of SQL, database tuning
Understanding of the pros and cons of compile-to-JavaScript languages.
Agile practices, test driven development, test automation and continuous delivery.
Experience with source code control products such as BitBucket, Git, Jira
Experience defining / documenting standards and processes in a large Enterprise environment.
University/comparable degree (or equivalent).
