Part Time – 2 days per week
Remote - £28,000pa - £30,000pa (pro rata)

We are supporting a small business in City Centre Manchester recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator to join their Team.
This role is fully remote and part time, initially 2 days per week but there will be scope to increase this as the business grows. This role will be working directly with the team, the payroll team and accounts manager.
Responsibilities in the role:
* Checking timesheets and calculating wages.
* Processing payments via cash, cheque, or electronic transfer.
* Handling tax deductions and compliance with HM Revenue and Customs.
* Managing holiday, sick, maternity, and paternity leave payments.
* Answering employee queries about payslips and deduction, expense processing.
* Data checking all details such as candidate background checks, eligibility to work, compliance etc.
Requirements of the role:
* Previous payroll/finance experience.
* Experience working with timesheets, wages, tax, payslips and previously worked in a role conducting compliance checks etc.
* Thorough attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
