Job Description Solution Architect covering a breadth of Infra, Apps and Data

As a Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for owning and detailing the solution architecture within a feature team or initiative, ensuring it meets business requirements and aligns with strategic goals. You’ll drive quality in design and build processes, document standard approaches for repeatable components, and lead the solution architecture efforts. You’ll engage with stakeholders to document requirements, obtain cost estimates, and ensure clarity and approval of the solution architecture. The Solution Architect supports the engineering team, manages significant change requests, and conducts postmortems to gather feedback and best practices. You’ll also participate in feature team activities to maintain alignment with the strategic architecture principles.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience of working in a Scaled Agile environment.
Expertise in one or financial services Domain area.
Consulting experience with presentation skills preferred.
Experience with Cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure.
Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Familiarity with distributed databases (SQL and NoSQL) and messaging products such as Kafka.
