Part Time Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Part-Time Senior Accountant to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ramsgate.  This is a varied general practice position which will offer valuable experience and exciting challenges. Our client is open to candidates looking to work 3 or 4 days a week. Our client is a well-established and market-leading firm of chartered accountants who provide a mixed accountancy service to a range of owner-managed business clients across Kent.

In this role, you will:
Plan, prepare, and review accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT for a variety of clients
Prepare personal tax returns and corporation tax returns
Assist clients with their accounting software, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
Ensure work is being undertaken in the most efficient manner
Provide ad hoc support to the partners
Train and mentor trainees within the department
Handle client queries in a positive and client-focused manner
Requirements You will be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience.
You will have 3-6 years experience within practice and have hands-on experience of preparing accounts and tax work for clients.
