Part-Time Payroll Administrator

Part-Time Senior Payroll Administrator – The Role:

You’ll be working as part of a friendly, dedicated team and will take responsibility for delivering a timely, accurate payroll function for a portfolio of businesses.

Duties will include:

* Developing and managing the payroll function for clients.

* Responsible for the timely input of payroll data including calculation of maternity, paternity, overtime, overpayments and emergency payments as well as starters and leavers.

* Ensuring the accurate application of pay rises and additional pay increases.

* Leading on the payroll and pensions processes, ensuring accurate monthly pension & HMRC reporting and submissions

* Payroll reporting for clients and liaising with clients in relation to payroll queries.

* Handling salary, pensions and tax queries and explaining information.

* Leading on the improvement of payroll systems and processes.

* Responsible for managing and maintaining pension schemes.

Part-Time Senior Payroll Administrator – The Rewards:

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000pa pro rata based on experience and qualifications

Hours: c25 hrs per week, Mon – Fri

Location: Office, central Exeter

Part-Time Senior Payroll Administrator – The Person:

We are keen to hear from payroll professionals with current experience of UK payrolls and pensions.

You’ll be a first-rate communicator able to explain payroll information to clients.

A natural problem-solver with excellent attention to detail, you will also possess experience of working with payroll software, knowledge of BrightPay a bonus!

You will be a self-starter with proactive approach and a desire to work in professional, friendly business with outstanding customer service at its core.

You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
