15-20 hours per week (Over 5 days - Flexible)
Nottingham - Office based
Harper Recruitment Group are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established, successful SME. The successful Part Time Bookkeeper will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Duties will include
Entering sales and purchase invoices and payments.
Making payments to suppliers.
Dealing with customer overdue accounts.
Checking supplier invoices costs against orders.
Bank reconciliation.
Handling the monthly payroll.
Running the VAT quarter end and submitting VAT Return.
Completing various admin tasks associated with the bookkeeping function.Skills and Experience required
Previous experience in a similar Bookkeeping role essential
Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
AAT/ACCA advantageous but not essential
Experience of processing payroll
Bank Reconciliation
VAT returns
Ability to work on site 15-20 hours per week over 5 daysThe company have conveniently located offices, free parking and will accommodate preferred hours to suit the successful candidate over 5 days.
