We're on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Abingdon on their Warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis
About the role:
Overall Purpose of the role will be to paint geared motors (90%), provide logistical support in the warehouse and assembly work of (10%)
About You:
Need to be physically fit, and able to complete work of a physical nature, good attention to detail with a flexible attitude to work
The details (but not limited too):
Warehouse
Spray Paint Gearboxes / Motors
Logistics support including unloading shipments and putting inventory away, picking
components, packing boxes/pallets & loading shipments for despatch
Provide cover on standard case / motor mods
Maintain tidiness of Warehouse
Assist in running perpetual inventory counting system
Other
Any other reasonable task as requested by the Operations Manager, or Directors, for the
fulfilment of the job and according to the needs of the business
Actively follow Nord Gear Ltd policies and will maintain an awareness and observation of
Fire and Health & Safety Regulations
As duties and responsibilities change, this job description
Desired Skills:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English
Spray painting
Warehouse work
Necessary training will be provided
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday – 8am to 4pm
Friday – 8am to 4pm
Salary: £29,406
