As an OTC & Finance Officer in the retail industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring smooth operations in the Accounting & Finance department. This permanent role based in Coventry requires a keen understanding of financial processes and a strong ability to work with a team.

Description

Manage the order to cash cycle, including sales orders, customer invoice processing and cash collection.
Ensure on time payment by customers and develop a robust system for payment follow up
Review & propose customer credit limits in conjunction with appropriate credit reports
Maintain customer finance relationships.
Co-ordinate completion of all Purchase Orders through Pro-Activ system for sales rebate schemes
Work with Financial Controller to reconcile AR and rebate provisions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Generate and analyse AR and cash collection reports.
Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
Support Financial Controller and FP&A Manager in respect of information or data that they may require, e.g. research and obtain industry data
Act as office support in relation to, but not limited to, activities such as Health & Safety; Office Events; Travel etc

Profile

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Proficiency in financial management software
A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
