Job Title: Optometrist - Cataract Outpatient Clinics

Location: Edinburgh

Contract Type: Part time - Weekends only

Join Medacs Healthcare as a Registered Optometrist and use your clinical expertise in a vital role to support cataract outpatient clinics in Edinburgh.

You will be joining a friendly team of healthcare staff who are passionate about what they do and the services they provide to both patients and visitors.

The role:

You will play a crucial role as part of the outpatient clinic team to reduce the catarat waiting list by providing:

• Detailed examination of eye health
• Specialist care, advice and support to patients
• Referrals for specialist advise when necessary

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in cataract assessment and cataract post-operative review
• Hospital based experience is preferred
• Current and unrestricted GOC registration
• Current and valid PVG
• Full UK Right to Work - we are not able to support sponsorship to work in the UK at this time.
