Holcim is looking for an approachable individual to join their team on a temporary basis initially as a Weighbridge Operator. The successful applicant will be someone who is reliable, personable and holds strong attention to detail.

Role: Weighbridge Operator (Part Time)

Location: Holcim UK Ltd, Bardon Hill, Coalville, LE67 1TD

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 17:30 (17.5 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £12.47ph

Overtime available at OT 1.5 for anything over 42.5 hours

Contract Length: 3 months with the view to extend

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Managing weighbridge operations, ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded accurately and efficiently

*

Providing exceptional customer service to drivers, contractors, and internal teams

*

Resolving any queries in a professional and timely manner

*

Processing delivery and collection documentation

*

Ensuring all records are maintained to company standards

*

Supporting stock management by monitoring material movements and ensuring accurate reporting

*

Conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

*

Assisting in maintaining site security by controlling vehicle access

*

Ensuring all visitors adhere to safety protocols

*

Communicating effectively with site management, sharing updates on weighbridge activities and operational concerns as required

Essential Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a similar position and/or within a fast-paced operational environment

*

Strong verbal and written communication skills

*

The ability to work upon own initiative and independently

*

Strong IT skills, with experience in systems such as SAP or similar platforms, preferred

*

Proven ability to handle customer queries professionally and effectively

*

Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

*

Understanding of safe working practices and site protocols including good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
