Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and continuously improve operational systems and workflows.
* Evaluate and refine processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
* Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
* Manage inventory, materials, and equipment to maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency.
* Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing performance management of field and office staff.
* Monitor adherence to product and service quality standards.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
* Develop and execute operational strategies that support overall company objectives.
* Address day-to-day operational challenges efficiently and decisively.
* Implement practical solutions to improve performance, customer satisfaction, and project delivery.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the insulation industry (Cavity Wall Knowledge Desirable), including current regulations, materials, and installation practices.
* Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating both field-based and office teams.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to engage with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable operational plans.
* Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
* Technical Skills: Comfortable using operational software and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years experience in an operational leadership role, ideally within the insulation or construction sector
