We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client-a reputable and long-established plumbing, electrical, and heating company based in Cambridge-for the position of Operations Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to £30,000 per annum.
Role Summary
Our client is looking for a proactive and well-organised Operations Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day functioning of their operations. This dynamic role is central to the business, acting as a key link between engineers, customers, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, communication, and providing essential administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate engineer schedules and workloads
· Serve as the first point of contact for customers
· Prepare and issue quotes following site visits
· Generate invoices and assist with billing queries
· Produce and maintain job pipeline reports
· Handle general administrative and office tasks
· Work closely with senior management and field-based teams
Skills & Requirements:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
· Confident when engaging with customers and suppliers
· A team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills
· Professional telephone manner
· Competent with IT systems and quick to learn new tools
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
