Operations Assistant – Property Finance

We are currently recruiting for a growing specialist lender in the property finance sector is looking for an initiative-taking and detail-focused Operations Assistant to support the smooth delivery of loan processes across bridging, development, and buy-to-let finance. This role is perfect for someone eager to advance their career in financial services operations within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities

* Assist with the end-to-end administration of property finance loans, from initial enquiry to post-completion management.

* Manage and organise borrower documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

* Perform preliminary KYC and AML checks during borrower onboarding.

* Support the drafting of loan agreements, approval documentation, and completion files.

* Liaise with solicitors, valuers, brokers, and clients to maintain transaction momentum.

* Request updates and documentation from borrowers as required throughout the loan term.

* Track drawdowns, repayments, and other servicing events across loan accounts.

* Maintain internal systems and databases with up-to-date client and loan details.

* Prepare reports and updates for internal teams and external stakeholders.

* Assist in monitoring ongoing loan conditions and covenants.

* Work alongside the Operations Manager to review and enhance internal workflows.

* Review funding requests and help manage the timely release of funds.

* Coordinate loan redemptions, extensions, and closures to ensure smooth execution.

* Support compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory filings as needed.

What We are Looking For

* 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative, operations, or support function — ideally within property finance or lending (residential, bridging, BTL, or commercial).

* Strong analytical and numerical skills.

* Happy to work in the office 5 days a week

* Able to get to Finchley daily

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable using internal databases or CRM systems.
