Operations Analyst – Energy Infrastructure
Up to £33,000 plus benefits
London based
MC Technical Recruitment is working with a fast-growing clean energy infrastructure business looking to recruit an Operations Analyst to join their forward-thinking team.
This role will give you full visibility across a portfolio of complex heat and energy networks, combining technical analysis with operational improvement and project delivery. It’s ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, high-impact environment.
As the Operations Analyst, key responsibilities will include:
Lead performance analysis and improvement initiatives across multiple energy networks
Manage and improve water quality, site visibility, and data monitoring systems
Oversee corrective works and recommend system upgrades to improve operational reliability
Coordinate with internal and external teams on specialist service delivery
Monitor operational budgets and report against KPIs
Support energy centre performance; including CHP, biomass, and gas boiler systems
Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams
Contribute to continual improvement of procedures and maintenance practices
Other duties as required
To be considered, you should be:
Qualified to degree-level in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure or district heating systems (e.g. CHP, gas boilers, biomass, energy centres)
Strong data analysis skills and a passion for performance optimisation
Working towards Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable
NEBOSH, IOSH or similar H&S certification (or willingness to achieve)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across operational sites
