Job Description

SRM Recruitment are pleased to be working with a long-established business with offices in Stevenage, looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join their close-knit team. This varied role would suit someone who enjoys balancing general office administration tasks whilst supporting other teams in the business and being part of a collaborative office environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a full-time position, a friendly team culture, and a role they can make their own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with general administration, including invoice processing, payments, and supplier record-keeping

  • Liaise with external providers such as insurers, utilities, and suppliers to manage ongoing services

  • Assist with reporting on supplier performance

  • Help coordinate office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining petty cash/credit card processes / expenses

  • Cover reception as required

  • Carry out general administrative support across the business as needed

About You:

  • Strong administrative background

  • Strong Microsoft Excel user
  • Confident managing a varied workload and switching between tasks as needed

  • A positive team player who’s also comfortable working independently

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a can-do approach to supporting different areas of the business
