Your Role as Nurse Manager:
As the Nurse Manager, you will be the clinical and operational lead for the home, guiding the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring residents receive the highest level of person-centred care, and maintaining the positive culture that the home is so well known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
Ensure clinical excellence and compliance with all regulatory and legislative frameworks, including CQC standards.
Manage staffing, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, and external professionals to develop individualised care plans.
Oversee audits, care documentation, and medication systems to ensure continuous improvement.
Support the Registered Manager and contribute to the strategic direction of the home.
Monitor and manage budgets responsibly, ensuring both quality care and cost efficiency.
We’re looking for a confident, committed professional with proven leadership capabilities and a strong clinical background.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within an elderly care setting.
Strong knowledge of dementia care, nursing best practices, and regulatory compliance.
A caring, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
