Non-Medical Prescriber

Staffordshire STaRs are looking for a Band7 Non-Medical Practitioner to support their team. Please see below for more information!

· Delivery of regular Independent NMP clinics weekly depending on the service need

· Provide expert support to new NMPs and all prescribing, nursing and recovery staff

· To support the development of non-medical prescribing countywide with the Clinical Lead

· Provision of healthcare treatments and procedures (including health screening, blood borne virus screening) for people accessing our service in line with the public health and wellbeing agenda

· Support and train staff in substance use disorder and alcohol related disorders

· To provide clinical supervision on a monthly basis to staff in the absence of Clinical Lead

· To line manage nursing/recovery staff as required

· To deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence

The role is 37.5 hours per week, county wide so it is essential that you have access to your own vehicle
