NET Developer

A growing tech-focused business in the Wakefield area is looking for a hands-on .NET Developer to join its in-house engineering team.

You’ll be joining a collaborative environment where developers sit side-by-side with design, print, and production teams to deliver real-world digital solutions. Systems you build will be used daily by major UK brands.

The role would suit someone with a strong backend grounding who is comfortable taking ownership, and helping to guide less experienced developers.

What You'll Be Working On:

* Moving from legacy .NET Framework to .NET 6+ and service-based architecture

* Supporting apprentices and contributing to a strong team culture

* Integrating with platforms like Adobe, Azure, and ElasticSearch

* Working with a mix of on-prem and cloud infrastructure

Tech Snapshot:

* C#, .NET (Framework and Core)

* Azure (Virtual Desktops, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, Azure Search)

* SQL Server, ElasticSearch

* InDesign Server, JavaScript, HTML

* React (aspirational)

What They’re Looking For:

* 1-5 years of commercial experience in .NET development

* A full-stack mindset, though stronger backend skills are fine

* Someone happy to work in a close-knit team on-site, Monday to Friday

* A good communicator who can work from rough ideas and still deliver clean results

* Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be a bonus
