Our client is a leading sheet metal based Manufacturing company supplying the architeactural , roofing , cladding and self storage sectors across the UK.
The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery, working with both electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on sheet metal manufacturing equipment.
*
Diagnose, repair, and service mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
*
Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
*
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
*
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
*
Identify areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
*
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
*
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
*
Experience with CNC machinery, press brakes, laser cutting machines, or other sheet metal processing equipment is advantageous.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
*
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
*
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail.
