Multi-trade Carpenter

Fantastic Opportunity for a Skilled Multi-Trader - Sandwell Region

Are you an experienced Multi-Trader looking for a long-term role with a respected and forward-thinking housing association? We have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a well-established maintenance team covering the Sandwell area of Birmingham.

This role is perfect for someone with strong all-round skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and customer service. You'll be carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance on domestic social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Patch plastering and general repairs

Kitchen fitting and basic carpentry (skirtings, architraves, door adjustments)

Installation of handrails and accessibility aids

Basic plumbing tasks (taps, leaks, pipework)

Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

Job Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Sandwell / Birmingham
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duration: Ongoing (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour

Requirements:

Proven experience in multi-trade maintenance roles

Strong carpentry background preferred

Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Great communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
