This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including brewing equipment, depalletisers, liquid filling machines, labelling, and glass bottle packaging lines.
- Diagnose and resolve faults promptly to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
- A formal qualification in electrical engineering, preferably an HNC.
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of brewing, packaging, and bottling processes is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
