Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Flintshire, North East Wales

Type: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per year

Benefits: Bank holidays off, life insurance, company wide bonus schemes, etc.

The Company:

My client is a national precision engineering company who operate across multiple sites in the UK, including two in Northern Wales. They are currently expanding both of their manufacturing sites in North Wales and are therefore keen to grow their maintenance engineering team. For this position they need a skilled / senior engineer with experience within FMCG, plastic or metal manufacturing environments.

Reporting to the Site Managers you will be responsible for the completion of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of production machinery including extrusion / injection moulding.
Assisting the facilities team with general factory maintenance
Reporting maintenance breakdowns and logging all necessary compliance.
Present leadership skills by assisting with the mentorship programs with their current apprentices.

Requirements:

Hold a UK relevant qualification in an engineering discipline such as ONC, NVQ, BTEC etc. (preferably Electrical Engineering)
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Confident working autonomously on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
