Established over 40 years ago, a fast growing business which delivers excellent service to their customers and high quality produce, supplying a wide variety to major retailers across the UK. This organisation is looking to expand their engineering team by adding an engineering lead to work very closely with their high performing dedicated maintenance team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that a rolling programme of planned and preventative maintenance is carried out, in addition to emergency repairs.
  • Carry out electrical, mechanical, automation and process control tasks as and when required adopting "best practices" at all times.
  • Completing daily and weekly inspection routines.
  • Responsible for escalating problems with plant, machinery or product quality to the appropriate Managers, in a timely and proactive manner.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Relevant technical/engineering /City & Guilds (HND or NVQ equivalent)
  • COSHH / Food Safety / Manual Handling / Health & Safety
