Overview
We are seeking a multi-skilled engineer to join a growing team, within a well known business in their sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, requiring a versatile skill set and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Conducting routine maintenance on CNC machinery
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
Performing equipment installations and upgrades
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce downtime
Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
Documenting maintenance and repair activities
Qualifications
Proven experience and qualifications in electrical engineering
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant technical certifications or qualifications
Day-to-day
A typical day for a multi-skilled engineer may involve conducting preventive maintenance checks, diagnosing equipment issues, collaborating with maintenance and production teams, and documenting maintenance activities. This role may also involve participating in continuous improvement initiatives and staying updated on industry best practices. The shift is Monday to Friday working on the 2-10 Back Shift
