Role : Full Time

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our busy and collaborative MASH Team in Carlisle. This is a crucial role, playing a key part in assessing and responding to concerns about children's welfare.

About the Role:

• Rapid Response: Receive and assess urgent referrals regarding children's welfare from various agencies (police, schools, health etc.).
• Thorough Assessments: Conduct detailed risk assessments, determining the urgency and level of intervention needed.
• Informed Decision-Making: Utilize professional judgment and knowledge of safeguarding legislation to determine next steps.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies to share information, coordinate responses, and create safety plans.
• Effective Case Allocation: Refer cases appropriately to Children's Social Care or other agencies.
• Meticulous Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records using relevant databases and case management systems.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, BA Hons Social Work, or equivalent).

• Social Care England registration.

• Updated DBS check.

• Experience in a MASH or similar multi-agency setting.
