Job Description Role: Motor Vehicle Technician \n Location: Greater Manchester \n Rate of pay £16 - £18 \n Type: Temporary \n \n Eden Brown are looking to recruit a Technical Support Officer to work within the automotive department for a leading further education college in Greater Manchester. \n \n About the Role: \n As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will support the delivery of practical learning in our fully equipped automotive workshops. You will assist lecturers in preparing and maintaining vehicles and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective environment for our students.
\n \n Key Responsibilities: \n * Prepare and maintain workshop equipment, tools, and vehicles \n * Assist with practical demonstrations and support students during hands-on activities \n * Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times \n * Support the set-up of assessments and maintain workshop records \n \n What We're Looking For: \n * Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle or Automotive Engineering \n * Industry experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic beneficial \n * Strong practical and organisational skills \n * A team player with a proactive attitude \n \n Previous experience in an educational or training environment (desirable but not essential) \n \n A DBS will be needed for this role.
