Job Title: Plumber (Commercial)
Location: Mobile across various client sites (UK-based)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + structured overtime
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Plumber to join our well-established engineering team. With a strong order book of repeat business across the UK prison estate, defence sites, highways, infrastructure, and the education sector, this is a great opportunity to be part of a stable and trusted organisation with a loyal workforce.
This is a mobile role, covering a range of client sites with reasonable travel expected. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with structured overtime and participation in an on-call service rota as required by business needs.
Responsibilities
*
Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing and heating systems
*
Install, repair, and maintain commercial heating and hot water systems
*
Carry out commercial installation projects and repair works including copper, steel, stainless press, and drainage pipework
*
Diagnose and repair faults, leaks, and system breakdowns
*
Analyse system faults and ensure proper operation
*
Produce compliance and statutory reports in line with regulations and best practices
Requirements
*
Valid commercial plumbing qualifications (required)
*
Experience working with commercial pipework systems including stainless steel, press fittings, and screwed steel
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*
Comfortable using tablet-based CAFM systems
*
Ability to work independently across various sites
