We’re hiring an ambitious and entrepreneurial Branch Manager to take ownership of our Plumbase site – part of the UK’s largest independent group of plumbing & heating merchants.
With over 320 locations nationwide and a decentralised structure, our branches are run like local businesses. You’ll have full autonomy over stock, sales, pricing, team management and performance – with the support of a trusted, national brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead day-to-day branch operations across sales, warehouse, admin and delivery
- Drive site performance through local sales strategy and account development
- Manage site P&L, margins, purchasing, stock and overheads
- Support and coach your team to deliver high standards and customer service
- Build strong relationships with local trade customers and key accounts
- Maintain safety, compliance, and visual standards across the site
Who You Are
- Experienced in managing a merchant, trade counter or operations team
- Strong commercial knowledge - confident with margin, sales and cost control
- Hands-on and proactive, able to make fast decisions in a dynamic environment
- A people leader who motivates and brings out the best in their team
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
