About the Role

We are seeking a Membership Representative to join a respected professional membership organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working autonomously, is confident engaging with a wide range of people, and can deliver excellent support and service across their region.

You’ll act as the main point of contact for members within your area — supporting existing relationships, encouraging new member applications, and promoting the organisation’s services, events, and training.

This is a remote role, but travel across your territory is essential, along with occasional visits to the organisation’s Midlothian-based office.

Key Responsibilities

* Build strong relationships with existing and prospective members

* Promote services, training opportunities, and key industry updates

* Support and attend local events, drop-in sessions, and briefings

* Provide administrative support, including reporting and minute-taking

* Liaise with internal teams to assist with membership payments

* Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general IT systems

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload

* Friendly, professional approach with confidence engaging in person and online

* Experience in a customer-facing or membership-based role

* Knowledge of the Scottish construction industry is an advantage, but not essential

* Ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team

How to Apply

If you're ready for a role that combines independence, variety, and the chance to work with a highly regarded industry body, we’d love to hear from you
