Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights) x7 rotations, with 18 day blocks off inbetween
£38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience, skills and qualifications (Plenty of overtime paid at enhanced rates)
Location: Near Preston
My client based in Preston is looking for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their expanding team. The business is doing very well and going through large amounts of growth and predict this year to be another successful one.
The successful Mechanical Shift Engineer will be joining a team of engineers with a mixture of skills and experience and will be supporting with the projects, as well as planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Requirements for the Mechanical Shift Engineer:
Mechanically biased
Must be Apprentice trained or have a full recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or ONC)
Open to backgrounds - manufacturing or forces
Good organisation skills and willing to get stuck in
Previous experience working as a Mechanical Shift Engineer
Must be PC and IT literate
H&S qualification / IOSH desirable
Candidates must already live in or around the Preston area and be commutable to site
