Pertemps are currently looking for a Mechanical Panel Assembler to join our clients team in the Cheshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, working closely with our design and test departments to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key responsibilities for this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

Manufacturing control panels

Working from schematics and layout diagrams 

Follow parts lists and complete progress sheets 

Liaise with Test Engineers, Stores and Design departments with anomalies pertaining to design/manufacture 

Be prepared to train others when competent to do so 

Skills required for this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

Experience working in a similar production or manufacturing role is essential 

Confident in using hand power tools safely 

Component recognition is essential 

Be willing to learn new skills

Must be able to drive due to no public transport going to our client’s location 

Details of this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

£12.30 per hour, with full training provided
30 days holiday (including statutory), increasing to 33 days after one year’s service
