Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter based in Bedford to join our client's on a full-time permanent basis.\nSummary of the Mechanical Fitter role\nSalary: £17.44 per hour\nLocation: Bedford\nType of Contract: Permanent\nHours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Fridays 7:00am - 2:30pm\nResponsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter\n * Assemble and fit mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.\n * Work to Bills of Materials.\n * Read and work from technical drawings.\n * Operate various hand and power tools.\nRequirements for a successful Mechanical Fitter\n * Relevant qualification or time-served apprenticeship.\n * Must have engineering experience gained within an assembly and manufacturing environment.\n * Strong IT skills with proficiency in Office 365, Adobe Acrobat and CAD.\n * High attention to detail.\n * Well organised.\n * Good communication skills both written and verbal.\nAllstaff Recruitment are an Independent Recruitment Specialist based in Bedfordshire who work on behalf of companies across Bedford, Milton Keynes and surrounds to fill their vacancies and meet their recruitment needs.
