Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity with great pay and benefits?
An established engineering business in Sunderland is seeking a Multi-Disciplined Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, training, and excellent earning potential through overtime.
The Role:
*
Based primarily in a Sunderland workshop
*
Local travel may be required during contracted hours (individually or as part of a team)
*
Weekend availability is required (paid at enhanced overtime rates)
Key Responsibilities:
*
Overhaul and repair of Graco, Mastic, and Sealant pumps
*
Mechanical assembly and installation
*
Hose manufacturing (full training provided)
*
Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
What We're Looking For:
*
Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends
*
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and health & safety requirements
*
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards
*
Full UK driving licence required
*
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
*
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
What’s in it for you:

£34,650 per annum (£18/hour)

Overtime: 1.4x (Mon–Sat over 37 hrs), 1.8x (Sundays)
