You will be joining a highly motivated team where you will be inter-machine Fitting to produce various Turbine products. Following work instructions and meeting company standards.
HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
- You will contribute to the production team with your skill, experience, and knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques to a high standard.
- Uses Hand tools, Pneumatic Power Tools and Rotary deburring machines in a safe manner, to produce Turbine Blades and Vanes to meet quality and production requirements.
- Understanding engineering drawings and fitting layouts.
- Examines the quality of production output using first principal gauging to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process.
- Maintains and updates digital production applications.
- Regularly inspects tooling and machiery for mechanical and safety issues.
- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Must have an apprenticeship, level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Must have Mechanical/Bench Fitting experience.
