About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our Outstanding secondary school in Ipswich. This full-time position offers the opportunity to teach students from GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths for the right candidate. As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students, foster problem-solving skills, and promote critical thinking, helping students develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Mathematics up to GCSE level, with the possibility of teaching A-Level Maths for the right candidate.

* Develop and implement lesson plans that promote independent learning, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts as a Maths Teacher.

* Provide constructive feedback to students, ensuring continuous improvement and academic success as a Maths Teacher.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement in Maths.

* Contribute to the department’s growth by sharing ideas for curriculum development and extra-curricular activities, particularly within the Maths department.

* Support the school’s ethos of excellence, inclusion, and personal development, ensuring all students are equipped to reach their full potential in Maths.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

* A PGCE or QTS.

* Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (including PGCE placements).

* Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
