We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher looking to make a real impact on students' learning and academic growth. The successful candidate will join a supportive team with excellent resources and facilities, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of all students, supporting their academic progress
Monitor and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events
Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and extra-curricular activities
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Organised, proactive, and adaptable to change
