Manufacturing Manager

Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Manager to join our client's team in Bathgate.

As Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead a night shift production team in a busy food manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for delivering key KPIs across safety, quality, service, and cost - while also acting as the site's senior contact during out-of-hours operations.

Key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Manager include:

• Leading and developing the nightshift team to meet operational goals
• Managing hygiene, changeovers, and shift handovers
• Driving a strong safety and continuous improvement culture
• Controlling raw material usage and operational costs
• Supporting audits, investigations, and performance reporting

To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous FMCG manufacturing or production management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety, H&S, and cost control
• IT skills, including Excel and MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience desirable)

Desirable experience:

• Food manufacturing, BRC standards, or bakery production
• Previous work in a 24/7 or 12-hour shift environment
