Manufacturing Engineer

Team Jobs have a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client in Stafford, on a 6 month contract.

Working Hours: 07:15 - 16:30 Mon - Thursday

The Role:

The Manufacturing Engineer provides support and guidance on all aspects of Production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. This role will be working closely with the assembly process may occasionally support other areas of Production within the business. The role will include involvement with the re balancing line and requires someone with experience of routing parts and using ERP Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
• Analysing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

Must Have Skills:

• Decision Maker and Critical thinker
• Team Player
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Equipment, Manufacturing Processes and Standards
• Adhere to strict HSE policies and standard processes
• Previous experience with Hot Test Engines
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• ERP systems experience would be beneficial
• 3-5 Years experience in a Manufacturing background.
