Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will bring at least 3–5 years of relevant experience along with a recognised financial qualification. This role is critical in delivering precise financial analysis and reporting, while supporting senior leadership with strategic insights to enable sound decision-making and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.

Conduct variance analysis to uncover trends, identify financial risks or inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
*
Support the budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial planning with business objectives.
2. Cost Accounting
*
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure accurate allocation and monitoring of costs.
*
Analyse product and service costs to support pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
*
Work with cross-functional teams to manage and reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
3. Strategic Financial Planning
*
Partner with senior leaders to formulate financial strategies that align with corporate goals.
*
Deliver financial projections and insights to inform strategic initiatives, such as investments, expansion, and risk management.
*
Perform financial modelling and scenario planning to assess the impact of business changes and market dynamics.
4. Compliance & Internal Controls
*
Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
*
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
*
Assist with internal and external audit processes, providing necessary data and documentation.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
*
Act as a trusted financial advisor to internal stakeholders, including senior management and department leads.
*
Present complex financial data clearly and effectively to non-financial audiences.
*
Contribute to meetings and presentations by providing meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
*
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*
Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
*
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management accounting or a similar financial role.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial analysis, and reporting practices.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
*
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial management systems.
*
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
*
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to diverse audiences
