We're working with a growing and ambitious business based in Liverpool City Centre to recruit a Management Accountant . This is a great opportunity for a confident, hands-on finance professional who's looking to take on a key role within a high-performing team.
Whether you're qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE , the business is open to experience-first candidates who bring strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset. This role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and a clear pathway for progression.
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing monthly management accounts, with variance analysis and insightful commentary
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insights
Managing balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
Assisting in year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting
Driving continuous improvement in processes, controls, and reporting systems
What We're Looking For:
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong relevant experience
Demonstrable success in producing accurate and timely management accounts
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
A confident communicator with the ability to engage across departments
Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (system improvement experience is a bonus)
